These pictures are from when Scott was an extra in We Were Soldiers

with Mel Gibson and Sam Elliot. Unfortunately, he was not in the final cut except 

for his shadow in the beginning of the command post scene were Mel receives 

his orders "to find them and kill'em."

As you can see, it was Scott's unique look that cast him in this role.... Yeah Right!

Scott played Lieutenant York which meant nothing, but now he can say

"I'm not a Lieutenant but I've played one on TV."  The other picture is Scott with

some guys he was stationed with at Vandenberg.

Isn't it funny how Vietnam looks a lot like California???
